I attended my first yoga class over 20 years ago during that first class I discovered the amazing power of the breath and its calming effect on mind and body. Through continued practice over the years I have gained knowledge and understanding of the yogic philosophy which I apply to my everyday life.
I began teaching 10years ago in Devon as I enjoyed being able to share the knowledge I was gaining with others. I completed my yoga teacher training in India with Rishikesh Yog Peeth. I regularly attend new classes, workshops, training courses and retreats to further develop my own practice which I am then able to share when I teach. Now based in Stratford Upon Avon my yoga classes are suitable for all abilities. A class will begin with pranayama (breath awareness), we then begin to initiate movement with the breath allowing the body to ‘warm up’ with gentle stretches leading to a flowing asana (posture) practice the class ends with guided savasana (final resting) relaxation.
